Griff’s Propane Exchange is looking to add members to our team! We are a family-owned company who has been in business for over 30 years and where the owner works alongside our employees. We are looking for Pump Operator/Paint Preppers who will operate our propane pumping station to fill propane cylinders; wrap tanks; and work as a team to prepare and process propane tanks for delivery. We are also looking for a Delivery Driver (minimum Class C CDL w/HazMat designation) who will operate a box truck of between 14,000 – 26,000 GVW, deliver 20# propane tanks to our many retailers across New York State, and work as a team to load and unload the truck and potentially prepare and process propane tanks for delivery. These are essential roles in our company, and we are looking for go-getters and teammates that will bring real value to our organization.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate pumping station to fill propane cylinders. Apply wrap to tanks. Communicate with others to coordinate work activities and work as a team to process propane tanks for delivery. Inspect cylinders to identify any issues with quality control or defects. Load and unload tanks on and off trucks and/or paint conveyor. Inspect and keep work areas neat and clean.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education – Job prefers a high school diploma or GED.

Deliver 20# LPG propane tanks to commercial addresses via different routes. Follow routes and time schedule. Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a Box Truck vehicle up to 26,000 GVW. Follow all safety procedures for vehicle operation and transporting hazmat 20# propane cylinders. Collect payments. Complete logs and reports Follow DOT regulations and safety standards. Load and unload 40-pound tanks on and off truck. Inspect and keep vehicle and work areas neat and clean.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education – Prefer a high school diploma or GED.
Credentials: Requires a minimum Class C CDL license with Hazmat designation.
Abilities: Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions. Ability to lift 40 pounds.
